- Accumulator
- Similar to a parlay, a bet that combines multiple selections and grows the potential payout as each leg wins.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting system that eliminates the draw option and uses half‑goal or quarter‑goal lines to reduce tie outcomes.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that allows you to combine multiple markets from the same match into a single personalized bet.
- Bookmaker Margin
- The built‑in profit margin in the odds that ensures the bookmaker makes money regardless of the outcome.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet that wins if each team scores at least one goal during the match, regardless of the final result.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, either locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet that requires you to predict the exact final score of a match.
- Decimal Odds
- A way to display odds as a single number (e.g., 2.50) that includes your stake; multiply your stake by this number to calculate total returns.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (e.g., win/draw, draw/loss) in a single wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that refunds your stake if the match ends in a draw; you only win if your chosen team wins.
- Edge
- The perceived advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker's odds.
- Fractional Odds
- A traditional odds format shown as a fraction (e.g., 3/1) where the numerator is the profit you make for each unit of the denominator you stake.
- Goal Line
- The same as the over/under total goals line set by the bookmaker for a specific match.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that the bookmaker adds to the odds, also called vigorish.
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is in progress, with odds that update in real time.
- Moneyline Odds
- Odds expressed as a positive or negative number indicating how much you need to bet (negative) or how much you win on a $100 bet (positive).
- Odds
- The number that tells you how much you can win relative to your stake; higher odds mean bigger potential payout but lower chance of winning.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals (or other stats) in a match will be higher (over) or lower (under) than a set line.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more individual wagers and pays out only if all selections win.
- Spread
- A point advantage given to the underdog or a disadvantage to the favorite, used to level the playing field in betting.
- Stake
- The amount of money you place on a bet.
- Unit
- A standardized bet size, often a small percentage of your bankroll, used to manage risk.
- Value Bet
- A wager where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, suggesting a positive expected value.
- Vig
- Short for vigorish; the extra amount you pay to the bookmaker on top of the true odds.
